Now you can play CD-R/-RW discs with MP3 or WMA tracks right in your head unit.

Steering Wheel Remote Control Ready
Basic controls for the audio system located right on the steering wheel are offered with many vehicles. If you install a new head unit, you do not want to sacrifice this convenience, which is why Alpine head units are compatible with most steering wheel remote controls. You can upgrade with an Alpine unit and not lose any convenience. Alpine interfaces and harnesses make installation quick and easy.

Optical out
This head unit has an optical output, which means the music signal in its digital form can be transmitted via optical cable to an Alpine processor. Just hook up one of the three processor units shown below and you’re ready for dynamic multichannel music.

DVD-Video
Now you can play DVD-Video discs right in your head unit. It is compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS movie sound formats.
