Sony built the CDX-GT710 CD receiver for the serious audio fan. A 3-band parametric EQ allows you to select the centerpoint of the high, midrange, and low frequencies you want to adjust, giving you optimal flexibility and sound control. The "Dynamic Soundstage Organizer" feature lets you "raise" the soundstage so that the music sounds like it's all around you — it's especially effective if your speakers are near the floor.

The stereo plays just about any song format on CD; choose from MP3, WMA, AAC, or even Sony's ATRAC3 formats. If you listen to a lot of your own mixes, the BBE® MP setting adds body and depth to your MP3s, satellite radio, or other compressed music for more dynamic sound.

When you need to change discs, the motorized faceplate slides down to reveal the CD slot, then glides effortlessly back into place after you insert a CD. The fluorescent display creates text that's vibrant and clear, so you'll be able read song titles with a quick glance.

Into expanding your system? Three sets of preamp outputs make it easier to hook up amplifiers for your speakers and subwoofers. You'll find an auxiliary input on the faceplate for your portable music player or plug-and-play satellite radio. Sony also offers CD changers, satellite radios, and an iPod adapter for this stereo, so you can create the perfect car audio system.
